Objective :
Under the thematic area, INHURED International works for the protection and preservation of the environment as there is a strong demand for a clean and safe environment; public awareness of environmental damage and its implications is low as is public participation. According to the available information, the local population of the municipalities has some traditional understanding of natural resources. However, their knowledge of longer-term implications of damaged environment, disaster risk mitigation, or sound management of natural resources, is quite limited. Access to information on Government policy, respective changes in legislation, and administration is also insufficient.
